According to Snopes.com, Princeton was requested to put a "restriction" on distribution of any copies of the thesis of Michelle Obama (a/k/a/ Michelle laVaughn Robinson) saying it could not be made available until November 5, 2008 but when it was published on a political website they decided they would lift the restriction.

Moreover, she stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist". The 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to "Whites at Princeton , it often seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, "If those "Whites at Princeton " really saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave them that impression".

Most alarming is Michele Obama's use of the terms "separationist" and "integrationist" when describing the views of black people. Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a "separationist" view of race." By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight." Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant."

Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder. Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America, but she elevates black over white in her world. Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning: "There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost. " What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she's first lady that will elevate black over white in America?

The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration. "Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments. "The conclusion of her thesis is alarming. Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin.
"I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility. "Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input. Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another. The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama's thoughts and world view seen through a race-based prism. This is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration. Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern. Now maybe she's changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind with America. Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will.

Researchers in Norway claim a grown moose can produce 2,100 kilos of methane a year, equivalent to the amount of CO2 caused by an 8,077-mile car trip, der Spiegel reported.

Norway’s national animal releases methane through burping and flatulence, as do cows, considered more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide.

There are estimated to be more than 100,000 moose in Norway.

Threat Levels in Europe

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to"Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to"Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists themselves have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance"warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly!" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

It may seem like a quiet country where not much happens besides ice hockey, curling and beer drinking. But our neighbor to the north is proving to be quite the draw for thousands of disgruntled Americans.

The number of U.S. citizens who moved to Canada last year hit a 30-year high, with a 20 percent increase over the previous year and almost double the number who moved in 2000.

Florida Mom Faces Neglect Charges After Thieves Steal Car With Baby Inside

Thieves stole her car and her baby, but now one Orlando mother is facing charges in the case.

Family members told MyFoxOrlando.com that Whitlene Loussaint had just returned from attending church in the pouring rain and left her 2-month-old son in the back of her idling car while she went inside to fetch an umbrella. I am sure the Florida legislature had good intentions when they passed this law saying that people cannot leave kids in cars. But this was obviously aimed at the morons that think it’s ok to let their 6 month old babysit himself while they go into Walmart for the afternoon in the middle of August. All this mother did was park her car in her own driveway and go inside to get an umbrella. This shouldn’t even be a case other than the to prosecute the car thieves.

This is a perfect example of why you cannot legislate people’s behavior. There is a line where someone crosses from law abiding to law breaking and most of us live our lives well away from that line and stay on the good side. But with politicians in both state and federal governments constantly trying to control our behavior with laws and regulations we are all going to eventually find ourselves crossing that line just because of a law that we never knew existed in the first place.

Instead of passing some law that could put a mother in jail, bankruptcy from fines or both just for going about her own business lets pass a law that says a car thief gets 25 years mandatory in a hard labor camp in Arizona. I know that probably makes too much sense for most politicians. Imagine a concept where the criminal actually gets punished while the law abiding citizen doesn’t have to worry about getting their car stolen from their driveway.

I sincerely hope this case, if it actually survives it’s first appearance on the DA’s desk winds up in a court where the judge has common sense and tosses it out like the garbage that it is.

Court throws out city's illegal immigration law

HAZLETON, Pa (Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Thursday struck down as unconstitutional a local law designed to crack down on illegal immigration, dealing a blow to similar laws passed by dozens of towns and cities across the country.

U.S. District Judge James Munley said the city of Hazleton, 100 miles north of Philadelphia, was not allowed to implement a law that would fine businesses that hire illegal immigrants and penalize landlords who rent rooms to them.

"Federal law prohibits Hazleton from enforcing any of the provisions of its ordinances," Munley wrote in a 206-page opinion following a federal trial in which Hazleton's law was challenged by civil rights groups. click the link above to view the rest of this story.

So the federal government wont do anything about the out of control illegal immigrant invasion going on in our county, but they wont let the states do anything about it either?

First it was Farmers Branch, Texas and now Hazleton, PA. Two examples that the USG does not want to curb Mexico’s invasion of the US. One has to ask, what is it that the Mexican govt has on politicians in the US govt that makes them roll over and play dead when it comes to even just enforcing current immigration laws. Not only is the US Congress complacent in this whole immigration cluster F***, but they wont even allow the states to fix the problem on their own. Maybe the proper word isn’t complacent at all but complicit. Because by both the actions they refuse to take and the things they do when they do act I’m lead to think that they have in mind the interest of some entity other than the United States of America.

(AP) - WASHINGTON-The House on Wednesday approved a move by conservative Republicans to try to set free two Border Patrol agents convicted of shooting a Mexican drug dealer.

After a long, emotional debate, the House voted by voice to block the Bureau of Prisons from keeping former agents Ignacio Ramos and Alonso Compean in federal prison. So many things are wrong with this mess. First off, these two INS agents should never have been arrested for doing their duty of protecting and defending the U.S. Border. How is it that a drug smuggler from another country gets more consideration from our judicial system than two Federal agents? This guy doesn’t have rights in this country. He’s an alien from another country who has crossed our borders with the intent to deliver an illegal substance. And when confronted by U.S. authorities he runs and is shot by them. Then he gets preferential treatment by the local prosecutor and is allowed to come and go as he pleases across the border so he can testify against the agents that were trying to keep him out in the first place.

So that’s cluster F*** numero uno.

Then you have the U.S. Congress doing what only they can do… Have an hours long debate about the right or wrong of poor mister Davila’s plight at the hands of the evil United States. On one side you have the Republicans who have spent the last decade or so proving their complete impotence in regards to matters of real national security and the protection of our borders. And on the other side you have the Democrats who would rather earn votes with their latest targeted demographic of voters.. Illegal aliens.. excuse me ‘undocumented immigrants’.. **cough** Lost somewhere in the middle of these two packs of idiots is the issue of our generation. National Sovereignty and Security.

I am all about Ramos and Compean being freed and exonerated of the charges against them. I think they should be returned to duty with full compensation for the time they’ve been wrongfully imprisoned. But that is not what’s happened here. All that’s been accomplished is the Federal govt interfering with itself by cutting of the flow of money from one place to another. That’s like your left hand holding your wallet out so your right hand cant get to it…. But the money in your wallet belongs to your Dad anyway and he doesn’t want you spending it. But that’s a whole other chapter of the story.

So it’s business as usual in Washington. The left and right continue to debate each other on their grand stage pretending to care what we the people think, want or need. When behind stage it’s status quo of palm greasing and back scratching for the governing elite.

In the mean time our borders remain unguarded and the flow of new democratic voters goes unchecked.

Hilton released from jail because of unspecified medical problem

LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Thursday because of an unspecified medical problem and will fulfill the remainder of her sentence for probation violation in home confinement, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress was sent home shortly after 2 a.m. wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Hilton was sentenced to 45 days for violating her probation in a reckless driving case, but had been expected to serve 23 days in jail because of state rules allowing shorter sentences for good behavior.

WTF? This wasnt summer camp where the nurse calls your mommy if you get a tummy ache. It's jail for crying out loud! She repeatedly fluanted the terms of her probation and got sent up the river for it. And poor wittle Paris got sick and had to go home.... absolutely disgusting. As many chances as she'd already been given and as many times as she continued to screw up. Wonder how all the morons that did this and had to serve out their entire sentences feel about it?

In raw and emotional language from the bloody front lines, Cpl. Tyler Rock, of the 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, skewered Reid for being far removed from the patriotism and progress in Iraq.

"Yeah, and I got a quote for that [expletive] Harry Reid. These families need us here," Rock vented in an e-mail to Pat Dollard, a Hollywood agent-turned-war reporter who posted the comment on his Web site, www.patdollard.com.

"Obviously [Reid] has never been in Iraq. Or at least the area worth seeing . . . the parts where insurgency is rampant and the buildings are blown to pieces," Rock wrote.

Based in Camp Lejeune, N.C., Rock catalogued a series of grim daily traumas in Iraq, like getting covered in ash and sleeping under a dirty rug in an Iraqi family's house, or watching "several terrorists die" on the same strip of pavement. But he says he is optimistic about the future of a country that he says has "turned to complete s- - -" during a bloody insurgency.
He also spoke admiringly of the risks brave Iraqi citizens take every day. "If Iraq didn't want us here then why do we have [Iraqi police] volunteering every day to rebuild their cities?" he asked. "It sucks that Iraqis have more patriotism for a country that has turned to complete s- - - more than the people in America who drink Starbucks every day. "We could leave this place and say we are sorry to the terrorists. And then we could wait for 3,000 more American civilians to die before we say, 'Hey, that's not nice' again."

"And the sad thing is after we WIN this war. People like [Reid] will say he was there for us the whole time."

Rock's candid e-mail swept across the Internet after Dollard posted it on his site, and it was picked up by the Drudge Report and numerous other Web sites.

"What does [Reid] know about us 'losing' besides what he wants to believe? The truth is that we are pushing al Qaeda out and we are pushing the insurgency out. We are here to support a nation."

The Imus lynch party

In the end, it was not about Imus. It was about us.

Are we really a better country because, after he was publicly whipped for 10 days as the worst kind of racist, with whom no decent person could associate, he was thrown off the air?

Cards on the table.

This writer works for MSNBC, has been on the Imus show scores of times, watches Imus every morning, and likes the show, the music and the guys: the I-Man, Bernie, Charles and Tom Bowman.

And Imus is among the best interviewers in our business. Not only does he read and follow the news closely, he listens and probes as well as any interviewer in America. Because he is a comic, people mistake how good a questioner he is.

Is "Imus in the Morning" outrageous? Over the top at times? Are things said every week, if not every day, where you say, "He's going too far"? Yeah. But outrageousness is part of the show, whether the skits are of "Teddy Kennedy," "Reverend Falwell," "Mayor Nagin" or "The Cardinal."

And when Imus called the Rutgers women's basketball team "tattooed ... nappy-headed hos," he went over the top. The women deserved an apology. There was no cause, no call to use those terms. As Ann Coulter said, they were not fair game.

But Imus did apologize, again and again and again.

And lest we forget, these are athletes in their prime, the same age as young women in Iraq. They are not 5-year-old girls, and they are capable of brushing off an ignorant comment by a talk-show host who does not know them, or anything about them.

Who, after all, believed the slur was true? No one.

Compare, if you will, what was done to them – a single nasty insult – to the savage slanders for weeks on end of the Duke lacrosse team and the three players accused by a lying stripper of having gang-raped her at a frat party.

Duke faculty and talking heads took that occasion to vent their venom toward all white "jocks" on college campuses. Where are the demands for apologies from the talk-show hosts, guests, Duke faculty members and smear artists, all of whom bought into the lies about those Duke kids – because the lies comported with their hateful view of America?

And hate is what this is all about.

While the remarks of Imus and Bernie about the Rutgers women were indefensible, they were more unthinking and stupid than vicious and malicious. But malice is the right word to describe the howls for their show to be canceled and them to be driven from the airwaves – by phonies who endlessly prattle about the First Amendment.

The hypocrisy here was too thick to cut with a chainsaw.

What was the term the I-Man used? It was "hos," slang for whores, a term employed ad infinitum et ad nauseam by rap and hip-hop "artists." It is a term out of the African-American community. Yet, if any of a hundred rap singers has lost his contract or been driven from the airwaves for using it, maybe someone can tell me about it.

If the word "hos" is a filthy insult to decent black women, and it is, why are hip-hop artists and rap singers who use it incessantly not pariahs in the black community? Why would black politicians hobnob with them? Why are there no boycotts of the advertisers of the radio stations that play their degrading music?
Answer: The issue here is not the word Imus used. The issue is who Imus is – a white man, who used a term about black women only black folks are permitted to use with impunity and immunity.

Whatever Imus' sins, no one deserves to have Al Sharpton – hero of the Tawana Brawley hoax, resolute defender of the fake rape charge against half a dozen innocent guys, which ruined lives – sit in moral judgment upon them.

"It is our feeling that this is only the beginning. We must have a broad discussion on what is permitted and not permitted in terms of the airwaves," says Sharpton. It says something about America that someone with Al's track record can claim the role of national censor.

Who is next? And why do we take it?

I did a bad thing, but I am not a bad person, says Imus. Indeed, whoever used his microphone to do more good for more people – be they the cancer kids of Imus Ranch, the families of Iraq war dead now more justly compensated because of the I-Man or the cause of a cure for autism?

"We know of no spectacle so ridiculous as the British public in one of its periodic fits of morality," said Lord Macaulay. Unfortunately, Macaulay never saw the likes of the Revs. Sharpton and Jackson.

Imus threw himself on the mercy of the court of elite opinion – and that court, pandering to the mob, lynched him. Yet, for all his sins, he was a better man than the lot of them rejoicing at the foot of the cottonwood tree.

By now everyone knows about the recent idiotic remarks that longtime broadcaster Don Imus made last week about some black members of the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, to whom he referred as “nappy-headed hos.” Imus’ words require no comment; their stupidity is clear to all.
What is not at all clear, however, is why Al Sharpton has become Imus’ de facto confessor in this case. On Monday, the shock jock contritely appeared on Sharpton’s radio program and apologized for his stupid statements. Sharpton, for his part, slid into his customary moral preening routine and denounced Imus’ comments of last week as “racist” and “abominable,” adding that the broadcaster “should be fired” for what he had said. “I accept his apology,” Sharpton later elaborated, “just as I want his bosses to accept his resignation.” Moreover, Sharpton vowed to picket Imus’ New York radio home, WFAN-AM, unless the broadcaster was fired within a week for having “use[d] the airwaves for sexist and racist remarks.”When one considers the multitude of hurtful, malicious, deceitful things Al Sharpton himself has said and done over the years—chiefly for the purpose of justifying his own existence as a proverbial shepherd dutifully shielding black Americans from the white racist wolves that supposedly surround them all times—it is beyond incredible not only that he hosts his own radio program, but that anyone on earth should take seriously anything he has to say. Sharpton’s career as a public liar and racial arsonist began in earnest two decades ago when he injected himself into the case of 16-year-old Tawana Brawley, who in November 1987 claimed that she had been repeatedly raped and sodomized for four days by six white kidnappers, at least one of whom was wearing a police badge. She further alleged that her assailants had chopped off some of her hair, forced her to perform oral sex on them, urinated into her mouth, smeared her clothing with feces, and covered her chest with racial slurs before finally depositing her in a wooded area of Wappingers Falls, a town in Dutchess County, New York. It was among the most disturbing tales in living memory.Al Sharpton quickly assumed the role of special adviser to Miss Brawley and thereafter worked closely with the girl’s attorneys, C. Vernon Mason (who, later in his career, would be convicted of 66 counts of professional misconduct and disbarred from the legal profession) and Alton Maddox (who has publicly expressed his profound hatred for white people). Lamenting that their client had fallen prey to “certain elements that have constantly antagonized the black community, including the Ku Klux Klan and law-enforcement personnel,” Sharpton and the Brawley lawyers demanded that New York Governor Mario Cuomo appoint a special prosecutor to the case and publicly charged that “high-level” local law enforcement officials were involved in the crime—an allegation that led to numerous death threats against members of the Dutchess County police department. Sharpton further demanded that New York Attorney General Robert Abrams be removed from the case because of an alleged “relationship” between Abrams and the Dutchess County sheriff who was, according to Sharpton, “a suspect in this case.” Sharpton insisted that there was “absolutely no way” that his client would talk to Abrams. “That’s like asking someone who watched someone killed in the gas chamber to sit down with Mr. Hitler,” he said. So the case dragged on, week after week, with Brawley refusing to speak to even a single investigator—ostensibly because she feared that as an African American she would be unable to get a fair hearing. Then at a March 1988 news conference, Sharpton and the attorneys fingered Stephen Pagones, Dutchess County’s assistant district attorney, as one of their client’s attackers. Further accusing district attorney William Grady of trying to cover up Pagones’ involvement in the crime, they demanded that Governor Cuomo immediately arrest the two “suspects.” When asked what evidence they could provide to substantiate their charges, Sharpton and his cohorts were evasive, saying only that they would reveal the facts when the time was right. Three months later something very important happened: a Sharpton aide named Perry McKinnon stepped forward to make a remarkable series of disclosures. A former police officer, private investigator, and director of security at a Brooklyn Hospital, McKinnon revealed that “Sharpton acknowledged to me early on that ‘The [Brawley] story do sound like bull---t, but it don’t matter. We’re building a movement. This is the perfect issue. Because you’ve got whites on blacks. That’s an easy way to stir up all the deprived people, who would want to believe and who would believe—and all [you’ve] got to do is convince them—that all white people are bad. Then you’ve got a movement.” Explaining that Sharpton was methodically “building an atmosphere” for a race war, McKinnon continued: “Sharpton told me it don’t matter whether any whites did it or not. Something happened to her...even if Tawana done it to herself.” To prove his truthfulness, McKinnon submitted to a lie detector test administered on camera and passed all questions. In the autumn of 1988, after conducting an exhaustive review of the facts, a grand jury released its report showing beyond any doubt that the entire Tawana Brawley story had been fabricated, and that at least $1 million of New York taxpayers’ money had been spent to investigate a colossal hoax. Sharpton, however, would concede nothing. He continued to reiterate his claim that Brawley had been brutalized by a gang of whites. In February 1989, he told a Spin magazine interviewer, without the barest shred of proof, that Stephen Pagones had privately confessed to the crime. Sharpton further asserted, falsely, that Brawley’s gang-rape allegations had been confirmed by medical tests whose results were—conveniently—in C. Vernon Mason’s exclusive possession. And finally, for good measure, he lamented that Miss Brawley had tragically fallen prey to a barbaric “white supremist [sic] cult ritual.”When Pagones sued Sharpton for defamation of character in 1997, the latter portrayed himself as a wrongly persecuted man of honor who, mysteriously, could “no longer recall” having made a number of his slanderous accusations against Pagones and other law-enforcement officials years earlier. When asked whether he had made even the slightest attempt to verify Brawley’s allegations about Pagones before going public with them, Sharpton self-righteously retorted, “I would not engage in sex talk with a 15-year-old girl.” Pagones won a court judgment against Sharpton for $345,000, which Sharpton never paid. Moreover, during the decade prior to Pagones’ long-awaited vindication in court, the former prosecutor had suffered constant stress and anxiety (exacerbated by numerous death threats from Sharpton’s credulous followers) that contributed heavily to the devastating dissolution of Pagones’ marriage and the virtual ruin of his life. In comparison to what Sharpton did, Don Imus’ recent transgression seems rather minor, doesn’t it? And unlike Imus, Sharpton has never—in twenty years—had the courage or the decency to acknowledge what he did and to apologize for it. Never.
But the Brawley hoax was merely one of the early chapters in Sharpton’s long career as a peddler of racial grievance. Consider his response to the 1989 case of a white female jogger who was raped and beaten nearly to death in New York’s Central Park by a gang of at least 30 black and Hispanic teenagers who later acknowledged that they had specifically set out to target a white woman. Fracturing her skull with a lead pipe and mutilating her face with a brick, the assailants left the woman for dead. She lost three quarters of her blood in the attack and was so badly mangled that even her boyfriend was able to recognize her only by a familiar ring on her finger. When investigators later asked one of the attackers why he had tried to smash the victim skull, he candidly replied, “It was fun.” A multiracial jury convicted several of the defendants on the basis of their own confessions. But Sharpton, who served as an adviser to the boys’ families, said the defendants had been framed by a racist justice system. At one point during the trial, he escorted Tawana Brawley into the courtroom in an attempt to illustrate the alleged inequities of that system. “Those boys aren’t guilty for what happened to the jogger,” Sharpton said. “This is just like the old Scottsboro Boys case.”

Sharpton smelled more blood in 1991, when anti-Semitic riots in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section erupted after a seven-year old black child named Gavin Cato was accidentally killed by a car driven by a Hasidic Jew. Neighborhood residents were enraged by the boy’s death, and within three hours a black mob had murdered an innocent rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, in retribution. At Gavin Cato’s funeral, Sharpton criticized the Jewish community and thereafter organized a series of massive, angry demonstrations. He declared that Cato’s death was not merely the result of a car accident, but rather “the social accident of apartheid.” The contentious activist then challenged local Jews—who he derisively characterized as “diamond merchants” —to “pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house” to settle the score. Finally he claimed, without proof, that the Jewish driver had run over the Cato child while in a drunken stupor. Stirred in part by such rhetoric and false accusations, hundreds of Crown Heights blacks took violently to the streets, pelting Jewish homes with rocks, setting vehicles on fire, and shouting “Jew! Jew!” The riots continued for three days and nights. Sharpton’s response: “We must not reprimand our children for outrage, when it is the outrage that was put in them by an oppressive system.” Five days after the original car accident that had triggered the violence, Sharpton led 400 shouting protesters through the heart of the Crown Heights Jewish community, shouting “No justice, no peace!” The relentless Sharpton even traveled to Israel to search for the driver who had run over Gavin Cato. When angry Israeli onlookers taunted Sharpton with shouts of “Go to hell,” he replied: “I am in hell!”In 1995, Sharpton led his National Action Network in an ugly boycott against Freddy’s Fashion Mart, a Jewish-owned business in Harlem, New York. The boycott started when Freddy’s owners announced that because they wanted to expand their own business, they would no longer sublet part of their store to a black-owned record shop. The street leader of the boycott, Morris Powell, was the head of Sharpton’s “Buy Black” Committee. Repeatedly referring to the Jewish proprietors of Freddy’s as “crackers,” Powell and his fellow protesters menacingly told passersby, “Keep [going] right on past Freddy’s, he’s one of the greedy Jew bastards killing our [black] people. Don’t give the Jew a dime.” All of this occurred under the watchful, approving eye of Sharpton, who provided some additional sound bites for the media: “We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so some white interloper can expand his business on 125th Street…There is a systematic and methodical strategy to eliminate our people from doing business on 125th Street….[O]ne of our brothers...is now being threatened.” Sharpton exhorted blacks to join “the struggle brother Powell and I are engaged in.” The subsequent picketing became increasingly violent in tone until one of the protesters eventually shot four whites inside the store and then set the building on fire—killing seven employees, most of whom were Hispanics.
One wonders why Al Sharpton’s apparently delicate sensibilities—as evidenced by his current snit over Imus’ comments—were undisturbed by the incessant, ugly rhetoric that accompanied the Freddy’s boycott. Equally inexplicable is how someone with Sharpton’s professed abhorrence for racial insensitivity could have spent so many years as a strong supporter of the late Khalid Abdul Muhammad, whose vulgar diatribes against whites were too incendiary for even Louis Farrakhan to condone.

Perhaps you remember Mr. Muhammad, who publicly referred to Jews as “slumlords in the black community” who are busy “sucking our [black’] blood on a daily and consistent basis”; who said that Jews had provoked Adolf Hitler when they “went in there, in Germany, the way they do everywhere they go, and they supplanted, they usurped”; who said that blacks, in retribution against South African whites of the apartheid era, should “kill the women,…kill the children,…kill the babies,…kill the blind,…kill the crippled,…kill the faggot,…kill the lesbian,…kill them all”; who praised Colin Ferguson, a black man who had shot some twenty white and Asian commuters (killing six of them) in a racially motivated 1993 shooting spree aboard a New York commuter train, as a hero who possessed the courage to “just kill every goddamn cracker that he saw”; who advised blacks that “[t]here are no good crackers, and if you find one, kill him before he changes”; who told a Donahue television audience in May 1994 that “[t]here is a little bit of Hitler in all white people”; and who characterized black conservatives as “boot-licking, butt-licking, bamboozled, half-baked, half-fried, sissified, punkified, pasteurized, homogenized Nigger[s].” Perhaps you think that an individual who could utter such filth must be a hollow-headed racist. Well, Al Sharpton did not think so, not by any means. In fact, Sharpton actually lauded Muhammad for being nothing less than “a very articulate and courageous brother.”

But such an evaluation makes perfect sense for someone who, like Sharpton, loathes white people and considers them the scourge of humanity. In December 1998, for instance, Sharpton hosted an AIDS forum in Harlem which featured a dozen guest speakers, all but one of whom professed to believe that the disease had actually been engineered by white racists as a tool for genocide against blacks. At another public event, Sharpton declared: “White folks was in caves while we was building empires...We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”
Yet today Al Sharpton casts himself as a moral arbiter qualified to pass judgment on the words and actions of an aging broadcaster who recently uttered some stupid remarks that are no more offensive or insipid than a thousand other things he has said during his long radio career. Sharpton contends that Imus no longer has a moral right to hold a job in the industry where he has worked for more than four decades. But if Imus is unfit to be a broadcaster, by what calculus could anyone conclude that Sharpton himself merits a job behind a microphone? The episodes discussed in this article barely scratch the surface of what Sharpton has done to poison race relations for more than 20 years.

If Imus deserves to be fired, clearly, so does Sharpton.

Howard Stern to Imus: 'Say F**k You!'

Shock jock Howard Stern is no fan of embattled Don Imus, but he said he knows what his fellow talk show host should have told critics: "F**k you.” "He's apologizing like a guy who got his first broadcasting job,” Stern told his Sirius Satellite Radio audience after Imus apologized for his derogatory comment about the Rutgers women’s basketball team.

"He should have said, "F**k you, it’s a joke.”

Former radio host Bob Grant – no stranger to controversy – also weighed in on the Imus flap, according to the New York Daily News.

Grant was fired from New York radio powerhouse WABC over a remark he made about Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, who was aboard a plane that crashed in Croatia in 1996. Grant told a caller: "My hunch is [Brown] is the one survivor. Maybe it’s because at heart I’m a pessimist.” After Brown was found dead, Grant’s WABC contract was terminated.

"Everything doesn’t come out the way you want,” he said regarding Imus’ comment. "There were many times when I’d be going home and say to myself, ‘What the hell did I say that for?’ But that’s the pace you work at. That’s what people don’t take into account.”

And Pelosi wants to appease them.

Democrat Keith Ellison is now officially the first Muslim United States congressman. True to his pledge, he placed his hand on the Quran, the Muslim book of jihad and pledged his allegiance to the United States during his ceremonial swearing-in.

Capitol Hill staff said Ellison's swearing-in photo opportunity drew more media than they had ever seen in the history of the U.S. House. Ellison represents the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota. The Quran Ellison used was no ordinary book. It once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States and one of America's founding fathers. Ellison borrowed it from the Rare Book Section of the Library of Congress. It was one of the 6,500 Jefferson books archived in the library.

Ellison, who was born in Detroit and converted to Islam while in college, said he chose to use Jefferson's Quran because it showed that "a visionary like Jefferson" believed that wisdom could be gleaned from many sources. There is no doubt Ellison was right about Jefferson believing wisdom could be "gleaned" from the Muslim Quran. At the time Jefferson owned the book, he needed to know everything possible about Muslims because he was about to advocate war against the Islamic "Barbary" states of Morocco,Algeria, Tunisia and Tripoli.

Ellison's use of Jefferson's Quran as a prop illuminates a subject once well-known in the history of the United States, but, which today, is mostly forgotten - the Muslim pirate slavers who over many centuries enslaved millions of Africans and tens of thousands of Christian Europeans and Americans in the Islamic "Barbary" states. Over the course of 10 centuries, Muslim pirates cruised the African and Mediterranean coastline, pillaging villages and seizing slaves. The taking of slaves in pre-dawn raids on unsuspecting coastal villages had a high casualty rate. It was typical of Muslim raiders to kill off as many of the "non-Muslim" older men and women as possible so the preferred "booty" of only young women and children could be collected. Young non-Muslim women were targeted because of their value as concubines in Islamic markets. Islamic law provides for the sexual interests of Muslim men by allowing them to take as many as four wives at one time and to have as many concubines as their fortunes allow. Boys, as young as 9 or 10 years old, were often mutilated to create eunuchs who would bring higher prices in the slave markets of the Middle East. Muslim slave traders created "eunuch stations" along major African slave routes so the necessary surgery could be performed. It was estimated that only a small number of the boys subjected to the mutilation survived after the surgery.

When American colonists rebelled against British rule in 1776, American merchant ships lost Royal Navy protection. With no American Navy for protection, American ships were attacked and their Christian crews enslaved by Muslim pirates operating under the control of the "Dey of Algiers"--an Islamist warlord ruling Algeria. Because American commerce in the Mediterranean was being destroyed by the pirates, the Continental Congress agreed in 1784 to negotiate treaties with the four Barbary States. Congress appointed a special commission consisting of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin to oversee the negotiations. Lacking the ability to protect its merchant ships in the Mediterranean, the new America government tried to appease the Muslim slavers by agreeing to pay tribute and ransoms in order to retrieve seized American ships and buy the freedom of enslaved sailors. Adams argued in favor of paying tribute as the cheapest way to get American commerce in the Mediterranean moving again. Jefferson was opposed. He believed there would be no end to the demands for tribute and wanted matters settled "through the medium of war." He proposed a league of trading nations to force an end to Muslim piracy.

In 1786, Jefferson, then the American ambassador to France, and Adams, then the American ambassador to Britain, met in London with Si di Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the "Dey of Algiers" ambassador to Britain. The Americans wanted to negotiate a peace treaty based on Congress' vote to appease. During the meeting Jefferson and Adams asked the Dey's ambassador why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts. In a later meeting with the American Congress, the two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam "was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise." For the following 15 years, the American government paid the Muslims millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages. The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800.

Not long after Jefferson's inauguration as president in 1801, he dispatched a group of frigates to defend American interests in the Mediterranean, and informed Congress. Declaring that America was going to spend "millions for defense but not one cent for tribute," Jefferson pressed the issue by deploying American Marines and many of America's best warships to the Muslim Barbary Coast. The USS Constitution, USS Constellation, USS Philadelphia, USS Chesapeake, USS Argus, USS Syren and USS Intrepid all saw action. In 1805, American Marines marched across the dessert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves. During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy. Jefferson's victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country's battles on the land as on the sea."

It wasn't until 1815 that the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates. Jefferson had been right. The "medium of war" was the only way to put and end to the Muslim problem. Mr. Ellison was right about Jefferson. He was a visionary" wise enough to read and learn about the enemy from their own Muslim book of jihad.

A HISTORY LESSON

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish
and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundations of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1. Liberals; and
2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This
was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girliemen.

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.

Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule
because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire
other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That
is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America.
They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Our rich people don’t need another tax break. No, they need higher
taxes.

So the estate tax cut went down in the Senate, to the cheers of class
warriors everywhere. Congratulations to Democratic senators
Evan Bayh, Mary Landrieu, Ron Wyden, and Mark Pryor all of
whom voted against death-tax repeal after voting in favor of it a
few years ago. At last, they’ve come to their senses!

Our rich people don’t need another tax break. No, they need higher
taxes. And they should be vilified, too. That’s right: America should
attack rich people. In fact, we must abolish wealth, which is a
tremendous drag on our economy. It’s high time that we made the
rich poor.

As for all the xenophobes who want to deport the illegal immigrants
who toil in this economy, may I respectfully suggest that their
generals (i.e., Lou Dobbs, Pat Buchanan, and Tom Tancredo)
consider expanding their dragnet? Let’s deport rich people, too!

These rich people are bad for America. We don’t need their
ingenuity, their entrepreneurship, or their capital investment.
In the name of egalitarian socialism, the only thing we need
from them is more tax dollars. We now tax their incomes as
salary, corporate profits, dividends, capital gains, and at death.
But we must do better.

Perhaps we can tax them when they contribute to charities,
or the building of a new church or synagogue, or a symphony
orchestra, or a small-town cultural center; or when they create
another college; or when they finance private scholarships for
inner-city educations.

But we can’t stop there. Let’s criminalize the entire class of
successful American entrepreneurs. Let’s haul out the
distributional tables from the Joint Tax Committee and
the Congressional Budget Office and target all upper-end
earners for special wealth taxes.

Maybe we can even impose jail sentences on rich people.
No more interest income at all, just like the radical fundamentalist
Muslims do it!

Here’s a thought: Let’s publish the names of all rich people
in the newspapers and on the blog sites. Even better, when fat
cats venture out in public, let’s swarm them like those
animal-rights advocates who throw paint on women wearing mink
coats.

Simply, we must strive to make America more like France and
Germany those great income-leveling, income-redistribution states.
But it’s gonna take some work. When I last checked the international
tax tables, I found that the U.S. has the third highest estate-tax rate
out of 50 countries. We should be ashamed. Only third? We tax
estates at a 46 percent marginal rate, but Japan is the best at
70 percent, followed by South Korea at 50 percent. We are pikers.
How can we dare let Japan be ahead of us on taxing rich people?

The fact that 24 countries have a zero estate-tax rate, including
China, should not concern us. They don’t know what they’re doing.
And we do. We don’t want to be competitive in the world
economy. We’d prefer to hang out a sign reading:
Capitalists are unwelcome in the U.S.

This whole idea of keeping more of what you earn and own is just
plain stupid. In fact, this whole capitalistic notion is just one of those
bizarre global trends that undoubtedly will be reversed as people
come to their senses.

The Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico
they’re obviously all nuts with their zero tax rates on estates.
Did I say Mexico? That’s perfect. Instead of creating thousands of
new businesses and millions of new jobs in America, our rich can do
this for Mexico. If we deport them, that is. What a great idea!

Forget Sen. Jon Kyl’s fallback position of a 15 percent death-tax
rate, after exempting the first $5 million of an estate. That would
move us too close to Canada, Australia, and Argentina, which also
have zero rates. It would also promote the foolish idea that there
is a link between reward and work, and reward and risk.

The whacko ultra-right-wing idea that it must pay after-tax to
work and invest is simply insane. Forget what the brilliant
Arthur Laffer says. The best way to generate more saving and
investment is to tax both more.

This may all sound wrong, but our soak-the-rich liberals are deep
thinkers. They have their fingers on the pulse of the
hundred-million-strong investor class. They know that the
worldwide spread of free-market economics, which was launched
by Reagan and Thatcher twenty-five years ago, which has raised
global prosperity to record heights, and which has caused the
phenomenal growth of the middle class in places like India, China,
and Russia, is absolutely nuts.

After all, capital is the enemy of labor! Forget the obvious facts
that you can’t create a new job without a business and that you
can’t fund a new business without capital. That’s obviously wrong.

Once again, capital is the enemy. Rich people are evil. We have
to put an end to all this capitalist, supply-side nonsense. By the
way, when is Karl Marx’s birthday? I have to stop writing now,
so I can go look it up. Next May? Well, at least that will give me
time to prepare a triumphant celebration for the greatest
soak-the-rich advocate of all time.

Navy SEALs

Navy SEALs are always taught

1) Keep your priorities in order and
2) Know when to act without hesitation.

A Navy SEAL was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU. One day he shocked the class when he came in, looked to the ceiling, and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes." The
lecture room fell silent.

You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the SEAL got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform.

The professor was out cold. The SEAL went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the SEAL and asked, "What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The SEAL calmly replied, "God was too busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid shit and act like an asshole. So He sent me."

Overshoes and topcoats may not be worn in the office, but neck scarves and head wear may be worn in inclement weather.

A stove is provided for the benefit of the clerical staff. Coal and wood must be kept in the locker. It is recommended that each member of the clerical staff bring four pounds of coal each day during the cold weather.

No member of the clerical staff may leave the room without permission from the supervisor.

No talking is allowed during business hours.

The craving for tobacco, wine, or spirits is a human weakness, and as such is forbidden to all members of the clerical staff.

Now that the hours of business have been drastically reduced, the partaking of food is allowed between 11:30 and noon, but work
will not on any account cease!!

Members of the clerical staff will provide their own pens. A new sharpener is available on application to the supervisor.

The supervisor will nominate a senior clerk to be responsible for the cleanliness of the main office and the supervisor's private
office. All boys and juniors will report to him 40 minutes before
prayers and will remain after closing hours for similar work. Brushes, brooms, scrubbers, and soap are provided by the owners.

The owners recognize the wisdom of the new labor laws, but will expect a great rise in output of work to compensate for these near

A Frightening Analysis

We all know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration-overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor named Victor Davis Hanson talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia," explaining how immigration — both legal and illegal — was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.'"

"Here is how they do it," Lamm said: First to destroy America, "Turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way: 'The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy. Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."

Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

Third, "We could make the United States a 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved! Not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.'"

Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America reinforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population."

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity! Unity is what it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshiped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic Games.

A common enemy Persia threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to over come two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell.

"E. Pluribus Unum" — From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we can balkanize America as surely as Kosovo."

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits ~ make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'x! xenophobes' halt discussion and debate."

"Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Davis Hanson's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

There was no applause.

A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Every discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America — take note of California and other states — to date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy are deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

National Anthem - The Only Valid Version

Francis Scott Key, graduated from St. Johns College in Annapolis at age 17. By 1805, Key had established a law practice in Georgetown, Maryland, and, by 1814, had appeared many times before the U.S. Supreme Court.

In August 1814, Key's friend Dr. William Beanes was taken prisoner by the British army. Soon afterwards Key left for Baltimore to obtain the services of Colonel John Skinner, the government's prisoner of war exchange agent. Together they sailed down the bay on a truce ship and met the British fleet. Key successfully negotiated the doctor's release, but was detained with Skinner and Beanes by the British until after the attack on Baltimore.

It was during this time that Key witnessed the British attack on Fort McHenry, after which he was inspired to write the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Does anyone understand what is going on in Congress this week? They are negotiating to sell our citizenship for the paltry sum of $2,000.00! I'll say it again. Citizenship is now for sale for just $2,000.00. Does that not bother anyone but me? I wonder what all those that have fought and died to protect this once great nation would think if they knew that our government just put a price and a very low one at that on what they gave their lives for. Corrupt politicians and greedy corporations who thrive on cheap labor have now put a bargain basement price on what was once seen by many as more valuable than life itself.

I was thinking about how a status symbol of today is those cell
phones that everyone has clipped onto their belt or purse. I can't
afford one. So, I'm wearing my garage door opener.

You know, I spent a fortune on deodorant before I realized that
people didn't like me anyway.

I was thinking that women should put pictures of missing husbands
on beer cans!

I was thinking about old age and decided that old age is 'when you
still have something on the ball, but you are just too tired to
bounce it.'

I thought about making a fitness movie, for folks my age, and call
it "Pumping Rust."

I have gotten that dreaded furniture disease. That's when your
chest is falling into your drawers!

I know, when people see a cat's litter box, they always say, "Oh,
have you got a cat?" Just once I want to say, "No, it's for
company!"

Employment application blanks always ask 'who is to be notified in
case of an emergency.' I think you should write, "A Good Doctor!"

Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What
are we supposed to do -- write to these men? Why don't they just
put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen could look
for them while they deliver the mail? Or better yet, arrest them
while they are taking their pictures!

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot
more as they get older. Then, it dawned on me, they were cramming
for their finals. As for me, I'm just hoping God grades on the
curve.

The misguided freaks drew some curious looks, as they proclaimed his innocence; clutching his books.

The tears then flew out from Sarandon's eyes, as she nominated him again for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The actors were tethered to an ACLU sleigh, all towing the line of the urban decay.

On Asner, on Penn, on liberal cop-haters, On Sharpton, on Jesse and other race-baiters.

Then at 3:01 all curled up like a beetle, Tookie cried like a bitch as they gave him the needle.

When up from the actors there arose such a cry, they had failed in their mission, and Tookie DID DIE !!

An Enumclaw-area man who authorities say helped run a farm where people had sex with animals — and where a Seattle man died doing so with a horse — was charged with a misdemeanor yesterday.

Police began investigating James Tait, 54, and another man who lived at the rural Southeast King County farm after the Seattle man died of injuries suffered during intercourse with a horse in the summer, Enumclaw police said.

The criminal-trespassing charge stems from a July 2 bestiality session involving Tait, the 45-year-old Seattle man and a horse in a neighbor's barn, charging papers say. I have family living in Houston, Texas City (last mainland stop before Galveston), El Campo and Portland. All but the ones in Portland have evacuated to points north. Some in San Antonio and the rest up here to Dallas.

So we're watching closely as Rita threatens to destroy what they have.

For now it looks like most have heeded the evacuation orders and many that could not get out on their own have been taken out in busses. Katrina lessons learned.

Sitting here looking out the window at this storm blowing through right now. I have always loved it when the clouds get so dark that the street lights come on. Then everything gets that dark green tint.

Reminds me of when I was a kid. We had just left the theater from seeing Godzilla vs The Smog Monster...Yeah, I've seen all the Godzilla movies.. what about it? And on the way home this storm blows through and we had to stop in town at the car wash to get out of the hail. Dad let us get out and sit on top of the car while we watched the storm. Just one of those weird things you remember from your childhood that has no real significance.. but you remember it anyway.

VIENNA, Austria – Toni Fritsch, a former soccer player for Austria's national team who was discovered overseas by the Cowboys and became a record-setting NFL kicker, died Tuesday at 60.

The Austria Press Agency reported that Fritsch collapsed and died of heart failure in Vienna after eating at a restaurant.

Fritsch played in nine matches for the national soccer team and, in 1965, scored two goals in a 3-2 victory over England in London.

Six years later, soccer-style kickers were becoming popular in the NFL. The Cowboys learned of Fritsch from Bob Kap, who coached Dallas' North American Soccer League team. He said Fritsch could kick the ball "80 meters." The Cowboys sent a group to Europe in search of strong-legged soccer players who could be taught to boot footballs.

"The first place we went was Vienna, and the first player we tried out was Toni Fritsch," then-Cowboys personnel director Gil Brandt recalled Tuesday. "This guy was a world-class soccer player."

In an interview last year, Fritsch recalled how he had never seen a football before meeting with the Cowboys' entourage.

Brandt recalled that Fritsch kicked the game-winning field goal in his NFL debut. It was a 26-yarder with 1:53 left, giving the Cowboys a 16-13 victory over the Cardinals in St. Louis.

"It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen," Brandt said. "A linebacker for the Cardinals was hollering, 'Choke, Fritsch, choke!' and Dave Edwards, our upback on the protection team, said, 'He can't understand English.' "

Fritsch, a gregarious and popular player, shared kicking duties with the Cowboys in 1971, then had the job pretty much to himself for the 1972, '73 and '75 seasons. He led the NFC with 22 field goals in 1975. The Cowboys beat Miami in the Super Bowl after the 1971 season and lost the title game to Pittsburgh after the '75 season.

"He was a fun-loving Austrian," Brandt said. "...He was well liked by the players because he went out and drank beer with them."

He still holds an NFL record – he kicked a field goal in 13 consecutive playoff games. New England's Adam Vinatieri has an active streak of 12.

"It bodes well for crude testing the $70 range."

Bodes well for who? The fucking oil companies? Sonsabitches at the oil companies are price gouging and we see in this article that they're going to keep doing it until....

Cordier said prices at the pump may continue climbing "until consumers are crying uncle, which they're not."

So what you're telling me is that oil companies will raise prices until we beg them to stop? How about we just start setting fire to the CEO's of these companies mercedes' and rolls' and bmws'? Whether or not you support the current administration's policies how can you not support our fellow Americans as they serve and fight anywhere in the world? If you dont like the mission then take it up with the people that send them on it. But dont punish the troops on the ground.

I'd like to get my hands on that doe eyed freak and teach him some respect for the uniform. Better yet, institute a conscription system and let the drill instructors teach him the error of his ways. He wouldnt last a day even in Air Force basic training.

Ok, I admit... My spelling is atrocious. If it werent for spell checkers I would be in serious trouble. Over the years I have grown used to having dictionary.com as a failsafe to my spelling challenged ways. But for the entire last weekend and still even this morning the site is gone... just gone! What's a guy to do?

Maybe it is the latest Al Queda strategy that if we cant spell we wont be able to understand what we are trying to say to each other. An entire society thrown into chaos because we are all typing gibberish. Its a veritable electronic tower of babbel.

Or maybe I just need my morning caffeine?

Well this is not exactly right. I mean who carries fixin's for daiquiri's into the field? A cooler full of ice cold brew is more to my likings.

And along this same vein.. sobriety and all..

There is this old guy that wanders my neighborhood begging for beer. And if you have a fridge in your garage and leave the door open he will walk up and help himself. Twice I have caught him taking beer out of my fridge and the first time was a 12 pack that he made off with. Now I'm not the stingy sort and if a friend stops by one of the first things I do is offer them a cold one. But I would prefer it to be my choice as to whether you drink one of my beers or not.

So I've taken to setting little traps for the old begger. I picked up one of those sonic alarms that when triggered it sounds an ear piercing high pitch siren. One day I see him roaming the alleys with his empty mug so I set the alarm and go in the house. I stood there holding the door cracked open just enough that I could see as he snuck up the drive. I hear him say 'Neighbor?' a couple times obviously checking to see if anyone was gonna catch him. Not getting a response and thinking the coast was clear he skitters quickly up to the fridge and opens the door.. Should have seen him freak and make a mad dash for the alley as the siren starts whailing and I jerk the door open and yell 'GET OUTTA HERE!!'.

Think that stopped him? Nope. The next day I come outside and find him in the bed of my truck sorting through a couple empty cans to see if there was anything for him. Sheesh. Next up... exploding dye packs and a full beer bottle in a cardboard box on my driveway...

Blog Guys TV Listing

So on the right over there -------->> I have a list of my favorite TV shows. Rarely do we watch anything else in our house. Mostly because we dont have time but also because well.. who wants to sit still that long? And yeah, I guess we like cop shows. Not so fond of lawyers but William Shatner does a good job on that show. Too bad its off the air temporarily.

Saturdays are reserved for outside stuff like mowing the lawn and washing vehicles. In the evenings we can be found at this restaurant down the road with an open patio. On Friday and Saturday nights they have live music so we spend our time there just relaxing and enjoying the show. Food's not bad either but mostly we go to have a bottle of wine or two and tap to the music.

Alex at Married Man Looking has got it going on. This Buds for you Alex. Heres hoping that the two ends of your candle never meet. :)

Hobbies for ADD people

A while back I tried my hand a metal detecting. You know what that is right? Grab this metal detecting gizmo and walk around VERY SLOWLY in a field or someplace that you think someone many years ago might have dropped billions of dollars.

Well for Blog Guy that did not work out so well. First off all I ever found were pull tabs and chunks of scrap metal. Walking around slowly swinging the gizmo from side to side can get quite boring. And besides... oh look! Those people are flying a kite. It's a nice day for that. Think I'll go to walmart and get one of those giant kites shaped like an airplane.

Blog Guy walks back to his truck to head to walmart... and drives home to wash the truck because he noticed dirt on the hood when he took off down the road.

See what I'm talking about?

We need a national association for ADD people to have hobbies. But what kind of hobbies only take five minutes and then you move on to something else. And dont even get me started on golf.
